    Tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis is a painful condition where the outer part of your elbow becomes painful. The outer part also becomes quite tender. This condition is caused by inflammation of the tendons attached to the bony protrusion, above the elbow joint.

    Degeneration of the tendons or tendon tears can also cause tennis elbow. As tennis elbow is associated with tendon injury it is also called tendonitis. Tennis elbow can make everyday simple activities such as lifting, carrying or gripping a difficult task.

    1. Pain and tenderness around the elbow joint
    2. Pain when stretching your fingers or bending your hand
    3. Pain and weakness when moving your wrist
    4. Pain when trying to grasp or lift objects
