    So knowing the causes and the symptoms, let’s now turn to the natural remedies to cure earache;

    1. Juice of garlic- garlic has natural antibiotic qualities so can help to heal any infection inside the ear. Pour a few drops into the ear and let them sit for a while. Onion juice is also very effective.

    2. Mineral Oil – especially for swimmers who suffer with earaches a few drops of mineral oil put into the ears before swimming can help to prevent getting an earache in the first place. Swimmers could also use ear plugs while swimming to protect against earaches.

    3. Flying remedy – if your earache is a result of a change in altitude when you fly then simply chew gum, especially at take-off and landing. Yawning also helps if you do not have any gum so force a yawn at take-off and landing.

    4. Heat – applying a heating pad or a warm cloth to the affected ear helps to soothe away the pain in many instances.

    5. Vinegar – mix 3 parts vinegar with 1 part rubbing alcohol and apply a few drops to the affected ear(s). Can use apple cider vinegar instead of plain white vinegar.

    6. Warm Olive Oil – apply a few drops and let sit for a few minutes then wipe away residue. Can also use Castor Oil.

    7. Colloidal Silver – this is most effective when mixed with a type of essential oil such as Tea Tree Oil.
