    Hair loss can be a very embarrassing condition, especially if you’re a woman. Some choose to take extreme measures such as hair implants, which can be very painful. There are also so many solutions available that it is hard to know which is the best hair loss product for you.

    Luckily there are many natural methods to aid in your hair loss and some which actually help you to regrow your own hair. Here is one such solution for you;
    Easy Hair Regrowth. This product comes in different versions both for men and women experiencing hair loss. This is possibly the best hair loss product available in the market today.

    In addition there are several other home remedies and natural methods that can help you deal with this condition.

    Before we look at the remedies, let’s take a look at possible causes of hair loss as if the cause is as a result of something in your lifestyle then you are going to need to make some changes in your behavior in order to stop hair loss. We will be looking at reasons for female hair loss as well as hair loss in men.

    Normally, hair has three phases of growth:

    Anagen – The growth phase, lasts for two to six years. Usually 90% of the hair is in growth phase.
    Catagen — A transient phase lasting a few weeks. The hair becomes thinner and the follicle starts shrinking.
    Telogen – The thinned hairs fall off to make way for new hair. This lasts for two to four months.

    When excess DHT is in the bloodstream, it shortens the Anagen, or growth phase, and causes premature shrinkage of the follicles. Because the DHT is bound to the follicle, often the hair will not re-grow normally.

    Here are some causes of hair loss;

    1. Smoking
    2. Alcohol
    3. Poor Nutrition
    4. Poor hair care – over-washing, over-styling (blow drying) which can make your hair brittle and weak.
    5. Hair treatments. Chemicals used for dying, tinting, bleaching, straightening or permanent waves can cause hair to become damaged and break off if they are overused or used incorrectly.
    6. Illness
    7. Major surgery
    8. Hormonal issues (eg. some women experience hair loss a few months after having a baby). This includes hormonal changes as well as hormonal imbalances. Excess of DHT (dihydrotestosterone)
    9. Overactive / Under-active thyroid gland
    10. Medications
    11. Lupus / Diabetes are some diseases that have hair loss as a possible side effect
    12. Heredity
    13. Chemotherapy (usually you just have to wait until treatment is finished for your hair to grow back as the natural remedies available now do not address hair loss as a result of chemotherapy so I wouldn’t want you to waste time and money trying to regrow your hair while you are under-going treatment.)
    14. Fungal Infections – ringworm, for example can invade your scalp and cause hair loss.
    15. There are possibly more causes of hair loss but you get the idea from the above.

    Now let’s look at hair loss natural remedies; (some of these remedies have been used for hundreds of years).

    1. Scalp Massage – some recommend using coconut oil and massaging it into your scalp. Rinsing it out thoroughly is important. What this does is stimulates blood flow to your scalp which is critical for hair growth. The coconut oil also provides your hair with natural oil and minerals essential for growth. Some also recommend doing the massage with almond oil.

    2. Vitamin B6 is one of the B-complex water-soluble vitamins. It’s important for supporting many normal healthy body functions, including normal hair growth.

    3. Biotin is another B vitamin. It’s involved with the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates. It plays an important role in supporting healthy skin, hair and nails.

    4. Zinc is an important mineral to help maintain a strong immune system and normal functioning of enzymes. It’s involved with cell division, and helps support normal healthy skin, nails, and hair.

    5. Saw Palmetto extract. Historical use of Saw Palmetto can be traced in the Americas to the Mayans who used it as a tonic. Saw Palmetto appears to possess 5-α-reductase inhibitory activity (thereby preventing the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone). Some beleive that it may help promote hair growth.

    6. Nettle root has been used for centuries for shampoo and hair tonics. People also used it as a spring tonic, after a dark winter with no greens. After careful harvesting, it was often steamed for a green vegetable like spinach, or combined into soup.

    7. Pumpkin Seed was used by the Incas, Native Americans and Mayans to promote healthy, lustrous hair.

    8. Siberian Ginseng – Eleuthero is also known as Siberian Ginseng. It has been traditionally used as a tonic, to increase energy, and for general well-being.

    9. Silica – Silica is must for healthy hair and nails. The use of silica as a supplement as well as adding it to shampoo are considered to be the most effective of thehome remedies for hair growth and hair loss.
