• Toothache

    A toothache may be sharp, throbbing, shooting, or constant. If the tooth is not properly treated, it may eventually have to be extracted. Toothache pain relief is what we will focus on here because I know that this is what you need most if you are suffering with a toothache right now.

    The most common symptoms of a toothache are;

    1. Hot and/ or Cold Sensitivity
    2. Swelling – could be around your tooth or your entire jaw
    3. Painful Chewing
    4. Redness of Gums
    5. Pain in your ear
    6. Headache

    So what are the main causes of toothaches?

    1. Tooth decay – primarily caused by a poor diet such as consuming too much sugar, processed foods, soft drinks etc.

    Okay now how do we go about getting toothache pain relief?

    1. Onion – place a piece of onion over the aching tooth. If the pain returns while you still have the onion in your mouth, bit down on the onion to release some of the juices.

    2. Clove Oil – apply some clove oil to the affected tooth for pain relief.

    3. H2O2 Mouthwash – rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide and water, about half and half mixture. This is an excellent anti-bacterial so will help reduce inflammation as well.

    4. Oral Assist – Homeopathic remedy relieves pain associated with tooth and gum abscesses, plus promotes oral health.

    5. Mouthwash – salt and warm water also helps to kills bacteria and soothe sore teeth.

    6. Garlic – a natural antibacterial, antiviral and an anti-fungal is very effective in offering toothache pain relief.

    7. Wheat Grass – The juice of wheat grass acts as an excellent mouthwash for tooth decay and cures toothaches. Wheat grass draws out toxins from the gums and thus combats and inhibits bacterial growth.

    8. Diet – avoid sugary foods. Eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables.

    9. Dental Hygiene – get regular dental cleanings / checkups. Floss after each meal and brush at least 2 – 3 times each day.
