<p><strong>Apple Cider Vinegar</strong> also known as ACV, to me, is almost a miraculous product for the amount of uses it has and the tremendous benefits it offers. Have you ever used it? If so then you know what I am talking about. Well maybe you will learn some other uses or benefits from reading this and, hopefully others who have not yet experienced Apple Cider Vinegar will discover it&#8217;s wonderful benefits and start using it regularly. One hint that I will give you upfront is to get the version that is sold with what they call &#8220;the mother&#8221; in it. Not sure exactly what that is but it means that you&#8217;re getting the best quality so opt for this instead of the watery looking version sometimes sold. You may need to visit a natural health store or order it online.<br />
<em><br />
Apple Cider Vinegar</em> is used both internally and externally for different purposes. Take note, however, that If you take it internally between your meals or before you go to bed, you should always rinse out your mouth with clear water in order to avoid any extended contact with the enamel on your teeth, as this could have harmful long term effects.</p>
<p><strong>So let&#8217;s have a look now at 7 amazing uses for Apple Cider Vinegar;</strong></p>

<p><strong>Oral hygiene</strong> is simply the act of regularly working towards keeping your mouth and teeth clean to avoid having dental troubles, in particular the dreaded dental caries (fillings) as well as gingivitis, and more commonly, bad breath. I saw a poster once in a doctor&#8217;s office that depicted that many diseases we suffer with, start out in our mouth without our even knowing. This made it clear to me that I needed to pay closer attention than I was to my oral hygiene. Here we will look at 5 tips to help boost your <em>oral hygiene</em> that you can use from now on to look after your dental, and overall health, forever.</p>
<p>Obviously the first tip would be to clean your teeth and mouth regularly by brushing and flossing as well as by using a mouthwash. I have read many cases of the detrimental effects of fluoride on our bodies so would strongly suggest that you look for both a toothpaste and a mouthwash that do NOT contain fluoride. They are not hard to find. The toothpastes that I use I get at Whole Foods and they are fluoride free. I&#8217;m sure you can do a search online and find them if you do not have access to a Whole Foods store. I just recently found Binaca Everyday, a mouthwash that is fluoride free, sugar free and alcohol free and it works wonderfully. Note that these items are also very affordable.</p>

The tongue is an area that can harbor bacteria as well as the teeth and gums so you want to be sure that you also pay attention to your tongue whenever you are cleaning your teeth. Using the mouthwash will help with some of the bacteria on your tongue, but brushing it is also a good idea to help remove any lingering bacteria. Left unchecked, the bacteria, decaying food particles and candida found on the tongue can generate tooth decay and gum issues.</p>

<p>1. <strong>Green tea</strong> &#8211; contains polyphenol antioxidant plant compounds that lower plaque and aid in reducing cavities and gum disease. Tea may also help to reduce bad breath.<br />
2. <strong>Fruits</strong> &#8211; for example apples which contain Vitamin C that helps to protect your gums from disease<br />
3. <strong>Milk or Yogurt</strong> &#8211; bring calcium which is needed to strengthen your teeth<br />

also damaging to the enamel of your teeth. So our fourth tip is to research and avoid those foods that can actually harm your teeths&#8217; enamel and cause you dental problems.</p>

Some of the diseases or conditions that have been linked to poor oral hygiene are; cardiovascular diseases like heart attacks or strokes, bacterial pneumonia, diabetes complications and more.</p>

A person suffering with atypical depression displays less of the symptoms or signs of depression than someone who is suffering with clinical depression. Here we will look at how you can tell if you are suffering with this condition and what you can do to deal with it.</p>
<p>Firstly what you need to look out for are two or more of the following signs; 1) a general feeling of anxiety, 2) weight gain due to over eating, 3) sleeping far too much, 4) feeling paralyzed or weighed down, 5) increased sensitivity to rejection. However, one of the main symptoms that characterizes <em>atypical depression</em> is what is known as mood reactivity where the person&#8217;s mood improves in response to a positive event happening. With many other types of depression, positive events have no effect on the person&#8217;s mood.</p>
<p><strong>Someone suffering with clinical depression may show many of the following symptoms;</strong></p>
<p>Sadness,feelings of helplessness, low self worth or self esteem,problems concentrating, lack of energy, crying uncontrollably for no apparent reason,very irritable, sleep issues such as insomnia or sleeping too much,suicidal thoughts, lowered libido, digestive issues, headaches, appetite change causing weight gain or loss, unable to make decisions easily and even possible suicide attempts.</p>
<p><em>Atypical depression</em> sufferers usually do not have as many of the symptoms that those with clinical depression suffer with. In most cases, it is during the teenage years that this depression is first encountered. Sadly it is quite a common condition that many people suffer with.</p>
<p>It is believed in the medical field that hormone and thyroid issues can bring on <strong>atypical depression</strong> as it is thought that it is due to a chemical imbalance in your brain. Your brain produces neurotransmitters known as serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine which allow communication between your brain cells. When you are lacking in any of these you could experience <em>atypical depression</em> as well as other types of depression. Your doctor will do an evaluation of you, which will include blood tests to check for hormone levels and any thyroid problems.</p>
<p><strong>Other possible causes of depression are multiple and varied, here are some;</strong></p>
<p>1. Major loss &#8211; death of a loved one, broken marriage<br />
2. Abuse &#8211; sexual, mental or physical<br />
3. Family history of depression<br />
4. Serious medical problems egs. cancer, heart disease, kidney dialysis<br />
5. Major life event &#8211; moving is one of the highest stressors in life and bring on depression, losing a job and there are others as well.</p>
<p>After your doctor completes his evaluation and diagnoses you with <strong>atypical depression</strong> he/she will most likely want to put you on some drugs to help with the condition. Along with these drugs you will be advised to follow a more restricted diet as these drugs have known reactions with certain foods. The drugs are known as antidepressants and you might hear the term monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or (SSRIs) selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors used to describe them. The latter are more commonly used as they work by increasing the levels of serotonin in your brain. Some of the names you have probably heard of or seen advertised on television are Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, and Lexapro.</p>
<p>Your doctor may recommend some therapy for you in combination with the prescribed drug.</p>
<p>One natural mineral supplement that has shown some promise in helping with atypical depression is chromium picolinate. Some other natural ways to help with this condition are to be sure to eat a very healthy diet and become more active as in exercising daily. Preferably get outdoors and get some fresh air while you exercise. Having a close friend to confide in can also help greatly.</p>

If you always sleep on your back, try sleeping on your stomach or side. Sleeping on your side is better for your back, anyway. When you change positions, your tongue changes positions as well. This means that instead of resting against the back of your throat and causing you to snore, it can shift and move to the side of your mouth. When it&#8217;s on the side of your mouth, there&#8217;s nothing blocking your airway and you&#8217;ll be less likely to snore.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve tried my roll over suggestion and it hasn&#8217;t worked, it may be time for you to take an objective look at your lifestyle. Are you a smoker? If so, it may be time to kick the habit. Quitting smoking is definitely a tried and true remedy for snoring, and when you consider the science behind it the cure makes sense. When you smoke on a regular basis, your throat muscles weaken. Additionally, the smoking tends to cause mucus to gather in your airway. The two can combine to cause you to snore. While stopping smoking for good isn&#8217;t as easy of a fix as rolling over onto your side, it may be the only effective remedy.</p>

This is one of the common diseases that affect the mankind in the world. Though this disease has a cure but it needs to be prevented than to suffer from it.</p>
<p>Hypertension is commonly called as high blood pressure of BP. This disease is called as silent killer as it prevails in man for years without realizing. This hypertension damages the brain, heart and kidney. This hypertension which is also known as blood pressure is caused due to the pressure of the blood against the walls of the arteries. It is one of the most common world wide diseases afflicting the humans. This heart attack is one of the leading causes for the death in the world. But this can be prevented by giving education, awareness and information to the people to take healthy steps in getting rid of it and having a healthy health. The risk factors can be gently avoided by having careful planning that is by having healthy diet, simple exercises and basic knowledge about it.</p>
<p>High blood pressure of the hypertension is a medical condition where the blood pressure is chronically elevated. The prevalence of high blood pressure is one of the risk factor for the strokes, heart attacks, heart failure, arterial aneurysm, and for chronic renal failure. As already said this high blood pressure does not produce any symptoms. But sometimes it produces severe headache and then it is called as malignant hypertension or accelerated hypertension.</p>
<p>It is said that stressful situations may increase the blood pressure. These serious conditions cause stroke or diseases related to heart, kidney and eyes. Thought there have been several extensive researches, widespread patient education and many efforts have been made to decrease this hypertension but yet it is remained untreated. Sometimes this hypertension also leads to the risk factor that leads to the coronary heart disease, stroke, congestive heart failure, end stage renal disease, and peripheral vascular disease that lead to causes for death. In many cases this can be detected and controlled with the modifications in the lifestyles. The modification consists like diet, exercise, regular intake of medications. So it is a need that the health care professionals must not only prescribe the medications to cure suffer but has to change the lifestyles and suggest certain preventive strategies to decrease the prevalence of hypertension among the people.</p>
<p>This hypertension is often referred as silent killer because there are usually no signs or symptoms. It only occurs when the pressure of the blood flowing through your arteries is too high. Thus, close contact with a person with influenza who is coughing or sneezing is likely to result in infection. If one person in a household has flu, the rest of the family may contract the condition and it spreads rapidly through offices, classrooms, and work sites. Symptoms usually develop 24 to 48 hours after exposure to the virus and the patient is contagious for three to four days after the onset of symptoms.</p>
<p>Basic treatment calls for these basics: maintain a well-balanced diet with plenty of fluids. Be sure to get lots of bed rest and avoid cigarette smoking. Avoid crowds since the virus spreads speedily, keep away from crowded areas and keep your distance from those you see sneezing or coughing even if it means changing your seat on the commuter bus or train or getting off the elevator on the wrong floor.</p>

When your appetite returns, try dry toast, bananas, boiled brown rice, cooked whole-grain cereal, baked potatoes, applesauce, nonfat plain yogurt to which you can add pureed fruit.</p>
