• Jock Itch In Women? – 4 Tips For Men Or Women Suffering From Jock Itch

    Many of you may be surprised to know that jock itch is not something that only men can suffer with. Jock itch in women is more common than you might think. Are you going absolutely crazy with that bothersome and irritating jock itch or any other itch for that matter? There is good news for you that you can cure itch within 2 weeks at home (sometimes less) but you need to start doing certain things immediately so that you will start to get the relief that you are looking for.

    Jock itch is a type of fungus called Tinea Cruris. As with any type of fungus it likes a warm, moist, dark environment to thrive, which means not only can it affect your groin area, but also any part of your body that provides the environment conducive to its growth such as your toes and feet.

    The most common symptoms of Jock Itch are very similar to those you find with a yeast infection, such as redness, soreness, blistering, peeling, cracking or flaking of the skin, and burning or itching at the site of the infection.

    Most traditional doctors will prescribe antibiotics but these damage good bacteria in your body as well as the bad so I tend to stay away from them and prefer to look for natural healing remedies to cure itch or any other condition I have.

    For relief of your itch and prevention of future itches, here are some things you can try (I say try because not every remedy works for everyone, though they all work for most);

    1. Keep Yourself Dry – especially after you have been sweating, either from taking part in a sport or other strenuous activity, such as gardening, make sure to change your clothes when you are finished. Do not stay any extended period of time after sweating in the same clothes as you are only encouraging bacteria to grow which could develop into something that will cause you serious itching and discomfort.

    2. Keep the Affected Area Clean – the fungus that causes itching will have a hard time surviving if you clean the affected area with warm soapy water regularly.

    3. Garlic & Honey – if you’re at home reading this and desperately looking for help with a burning itch, you could make a paste of garlic and honey and apply this to the affected area. Garlic has many wonderful properties including anti-fungal which can help greatly here.

    4. Tea Tree Oil – many rave about the healing effects of this natural oil.

    There are 4 tips for you to cure itch and there are many more available for you by simply searching the internet. Always remember to look for natural healing remedies for conditions that affect you or your loved ones as they are most often the best with the least or no side effects. Stay well.
